ESTABLISHING SERVICE

There are three items required for establishing service with SouthWest Water Company (SWWC).  These are the notarized application, proof of ownership (for home owners), and a security deposit fee.  The normal method for initiating service is to apply in person at the SWWC located at their Ranch Road office, 9511 Ranch Road 620 North, Austin TX, 78726.

The security deposit fee is $100 for a home owner and $200 for a tenant.  A letter of credit cannot be used in lieu of the deposit fee and this fee is not transferable to another owner or tenant.  The security deposit fee will be refunded when the account is closed and there is no balance due.

If the new owner/tenant does not wish to apply in person, the notarized application with proof of ownership can be faxed to SWWC at 512-335-0251.  Once the application is processed, a SWWC representative will contact the applicant with the new account number and the deposit payment can be made by credit card.  Also, the notarized application, proof of ownership, and deposit fee check can be mailed to Travis County MUD No. 2, P.O. Box 2661, Cedar Park, TX, 78630-2661.

For any questions, please contact SWWC at 512-219-2295.  You may also visit their web site at http://www.swwc.com/texas-muds/ for more information.
